One incredible thing about older homes is that they sometimes leave traces of the many people who lived there before. In this case, a piece of the wall broke off in the corner to reveal dozens of layers of paint!.

It looks like rock strata and is so defined that you can see each color that the wall was once painted. The previous owners all seemed to love vibrant colors in the home, which makes the current owner’s pale walls seem bland compared to what they used to be.

A few friends were ready to welcome the new residents to this property. Fortunately, we aren’t talking about ghosts, but we are talking about mice! The holes on this floorboard appear to be modeled after Jerry’s house in Tom and Jerry.

We’re fairly certain that real-life mice aren’t quite as lovely as the mice on that show. This homeowner will most likely need to contact a rodent exterminator as soon as possible. Hopefully, the holes were from a long time ago, especially given the house was built in 1741.

A Chain with Doubts.
